I am saying to you that He will be doing the avenging of them swiftly. Moreover, consequently, at the coming of the Son of Mankind, will He be finding the faith on the earth? Luke 18:8 CLV
CHRISTIAN JUDAISM IS JUDAISM WITHOUT THE RITES AND THEIR SABBATHS. THE LEARNING CURVE IS STEEPER FOR THE GENTILES WHO MUST START FROM ZERO (John 4:22) BUT THE JEWS JUST HAVE TO CONFESS THAT JESUS IS THE RESURRECTED YHWH (Romans 10:8-13) ASSUMING THEIR KNOWLEDGE OF THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS.
Christian Judaism is pure Judaism of Moses and the Prophets, without the sacrificial system which was fulfilled (Matthew 5:17-18), because Jesus says that Salvation is from the Jews (John 4:22) and upholds Judaism in Luke 16:27-31. In other words, there is no difference between pure Christianity and Judaism of the Apostles. The Judaism of the Apostles or the pure Apostolic Christianity (Acts 11:26), is spelled out in Galatians 2:16 and is called the 'faith (belief) of Jesus'.
Ye worship that which ye know not: we worship that which we know; for salvation is from the Jews. John 4:22 ASV
(17) Think not that I came to destroy the law or the prophets: I came not to destroy, but to fulfil. (18) For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass away from the law, till all things be accomplished. Matthew 5:17-18 ASV
(27) And he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house;
(28) for I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. (29) But Abraham saith, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. (30) And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one go to them from the dead, they will repent. (31) And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, if one rise from the dead. Luke 16:27-31 ASV
yet knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, even we believed on Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ, and not by the works of the law: because by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified. Galatians 2:16 ASV
According to Jesus , it takes a heart (John 12:40), not a degree in Theology or in other fields of knowledge (Psalms 119:34) to understand the aforesaid and the Jewish Bible or the Old Testament.
The portion of the Jews who rejected Jesus did so because they were cursed as a result of rampant disobedience (John 12:40, Isaiah 6:8-10) as we read it in Prophet Isaiah who saw Jesus with his own eyes (Isaiah 6:1-5, 42:8, John 12:41). The Jews were given an opportunity to lift the curse, but they rejected the mercy of Jesus to lift that curse in rejecting the baptism of repentance and remission of sins which was preached by John the Baptist (Luke 7:29-30, Isaiah 40:3, 42:19-20).
Even with the expansion of Judaism to the world, the knowledge for salvation can only be revealed to individuals who can hear the real voice of Jesus (John 10:16, 27) and who are chosen by Jesus (Luke 10:22) who is Salvation for all mankind (John 3:16).
We can hear Jesus only if we set our heart to understand and choose to activate His words which He puts in our mouth and heart (Deuteronomy 30:11-16).
Those who cannot hear the voice of Jesus will not keep the teachings of Judaism (Jesus) but will be swayed by all kinds of winds of doctrines and will be lost (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12, Colossians 2:8, Ephesians 4:14). Those deaf ones are the ones of Christianity of the modern world who transform Apostolic Christianity into modern Christianity which distances and separates itself from the teachings of the Apostles (Christian Judaism) to incorporate forbidden paganism in the Apostolic Christianity (Acts 11:26, 26:28).
The chosen people of Judaism who do not subscribe to the belief or faith of Jesus will see no farther than land in the Jewish Bible and a Messiah from Bethlehem (Micah 5:2, Matthew 2:6, John 7:42) who will never materialize.
Those of us who can hear the real voice of Jesus teaching us from Moses and the Prophets (Luke 16:19-31), we understand that we may no longer keep the works of the law which are the holidays and their associated sabbaths and the animal sacrifices because Jesus fulfilled them (Galatians 2:16). Moreover, the rites in Moses were to be performed ONLY in Jerusalem, at the Temple, and by the priesthood.
In the faith of Jesus, the seventh day sabbath lives on because it is the signature memorial of the Creation works by Jesus, which preceded the sabbaths in Moses. Also, Jesus commands the remembrance of His death as our Passover Lamb. Do we hold the remembrance only at the annual Passover date or any time we feel like it?
We speak of 'Christian Judaism', as indicated in the faith of Jesus, only to contrast to those in our modern time Christianity the emphasis that Jesus has put on Judaism without the works of the law (Galatians 2:16) as the foundation of His Gospel of repentance and remission of sins for all mankind as He speaks of it in John 5:39, Matthew 5:17-18 and in the parable of Lazarus and the rich man in Luke 16. Perhaps, the call of Jesus to His people to come out of Christianity (Babylon) may be heard by some (Revelation 18:4, Hebrews 4:7).
There was no such distinction between Judaism of Jesus and Christianity in Antioch (Acts 11:26). Only those who, through the ages, cannot hear Jesus and who pick and choose from Judaism to christen their apostate Christianity speak of a distinction between Christianity and Judaism. Still, as far as the New Testament is concerned, its writings clearly make the Jewish Bible without the works of the law as the foundation of Christianity. Its writers almost exclusively quote from the Jewish Bible (Old Testament) to the early Christians to make their proselytizing pitch to the Jews and to the world.
Nevertheless, let it be understood that neither Jesus nor the Apostles created a movement named Christianity, regardless of Acts 11:26. Jesus refers to all (Jews and Gentiles) who believe in Him as His followers. The Gentiles named the followers of Jesus Christians just as the followers of any other good or bad charismatic leaders are named after their leaders.
Yet, if you want to hold to Apostolic Christianity, there is no such separation as Judaism and Christianity. There has been and there will only be Judaism for the salvation of men (John 5:39, Luke 16:19-31). John 5:39 attests that there were Jews of the times of Jesus who used their Bible in search of salvation not of land.
Jesus is the Author of Judaism and lived as a Jew under the Law of Moses, whom He emphasizes as the sure eternal guide to His salvation. Judaism has never been about land (John 5:39). Obedience to Judaism was to ensure the occupation of the land which Jesus claims as His Zion (Psalms 46:4, Psalms 87:1-3) in righteousness not in the same depravity of its former habitants which caused them to get evicted.
Again, Jesus says that salvation is from the Jews not from the Christians of Christianity. Christianity does not save. Judaism does, according to Jesus in John 5:39. Judaism is founded in Moses and the Prophets. And Christianity?
The followers of Jesus (Christians) follow Jesus Christ and His culture. Christians of modern apostate Christianity of many men (Babylon) follow a blend of paganism and Judaism with more emphasis in paganism. Those blenders are not Christians, and the blending phenomenon is nothing new (Acts 20:28-32). The Apostles already witnessed apostasy from the Gospel, the antichrist movement, the false teachings. That is why they admonish us to be vigilant. For example, the Epistle to the Hebrews addresses, among other doctrinal issues, the false teaching of modern Christianity that Jesus was an Angel (Hebrews 1, Joel 2:32, Romans 10: 8-13). So does Jude (Jude 1:9).
John came, who baptized in the wilderness and preached the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins. Mark 1:4 ASV
And he came into all the region round about the Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance unto remission of sins; Luke 3:3 ASV
Him did God exalt with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour, to give repentance to Israel, and remission of sins. Acts 5:31 ASV
And other sheep I have that are not of this fold: them also I must bring. And they shall hear my voice: And there shall be one fold and one shepherd. John 10:16 DRB
My sheep hear my voice. And I know them: and they follow me. John 10:27 DRB
After all, the Gospel of repentance and remission of sins introduced by John the Baptist has never been for the Jews only or for the Gentiles only. It was just to be witnessed FIRST to the Jews (Luke 24:47).
From the point of view of God (Jesus), the Creator (Isaiah 43:15, John 1:1-3), Savior Redeemer (Isaiah 60:16), King of Israel who is YHWH the Messiah (John 1:41; 4:25) who is to tell us everything, every person on earth has been called to overcome Satan so He can allow us to sit on His throne just as He sits on the throne with His Father. That is the elevated Theology of the Christian Judaism brought forth by Jesus (God) who calls His people of out Christianity (Revelation 18:4, Mark 7:7).
and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name unto all the nations, beginning from Jerusalem. Luke 24:47 ASV
But you shall be obtaining power at the coming of the holy spirit on you, and you shall be My witnesses both in Jerusalem and in entire Judea and Samaria, as far as the limits of the earth." Acts 1:8 CLV
And it comes that everyone who shall call on the name of Yahweh shall escape, for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem, deliverance shall come to be, just as Yahweh says; and among the survivors are those whom Yahweh is calling." Joel 2:32 CLV
For everyone, whoever should be invoking the name of the Lord [YHWH], shall be saved." Romans 10:13 CLV. (Compare Joel 2:32).
that, if ever you should be avowing with your mouth the declaration that Jesus is Lord [YHWH], and should be believing in your heart that God rouses Him from among the dead, you shall be saved." Romans 10:9 CLV. (Compare Joel 2:32).
I am Jehovah, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King. Isaiah 43:15 ASV
You shall also suck the milk of nations, and you shall suck the breast of kings. And you shall know that I, Jehovah, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. Isaiah 60:16 LITV
Nathanael answered and said to Him, Rabbi, You are the Son of God; You are the King of Israel. John 1:49 LITV
The woman said to him: I know that Messiah will come; and when he cometh, he will teach us every thing. John 4:25 Murdock
(20) Behold, I stand at the door and knock: if any man hear my voice and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. (21) He that overcometh, I will give to him to sit down with me in my throne, as I also overcame, and sat down with my Father in his throne. Revelation 3:20-21 ASV
Revelation 18:4-5 ASV
(4) And I heard another voice from heaven, saying, Come forth, my people, out of her, that ye have no fellowship with her sins, and that ye receive not of her plagues:
(5) for her sins have reached even unto heaven, and God hath remembered her iniquities.
